Data Centre – Cloud HQ GER1

Cloud HQ GER1 is Located just east of Frankfurt, the Cloud HQ FRA Campus delivers a total of 112 MW of critical power, supported by a dedicated 110 kV on-site substation. The campus comprises two state-of-the-art Data Centres: FRA1, which provides 56 MW of critical power across 640,582 sq. ft (59,512 sqm), and FRA2, which also delivers 56 MW of critical power across an identical footprint of 640,582 sq. ft (59,512 sqm).

To support Bouygues/Kraftenlagen, GMES Ltd was commissioned to deliver comprehensive Inspection, Testing, and Documentation services for the new LV installation. Our scope of work covered torque verification of all primary and secondary cable terminations, detailed inspection and testing of the LV Busbar systems, infrared thermographic scanning with full reporting, validation of construction-issue schematics, preparation of distribution board charts, and complete verification of the Earthing and Bonding systems.

In addition to inspection and testing, GMES Ltd also supplied full LV Authorised Person (LVAP) services, including all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) equipment. This was supported by our state-of-the-art QR-based LOTO system, enabling real-time tracking and control of isolation points to enhance safety, transparency, and operational efficiency across the site.
